Any chance Rad will ever come out on DVD? I grew up on this movie.. seriously. Just watched it tonight for the first time in a long time--it was good to see it again. I seriously know the movie by heart. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I transferred it to DVD for myself. It's a bit of a rough copy since I've had it on VHS since I was a kid. It would be nice to get an official DVD though... bonus outtakes, behind the scenes, widescreen, etc.
Anyone ever notice the microphone in the shot at the diner? Or when Cru picks up his bike to put it on top of the car he slams the bike into his helmet that Christian is holding--she looked a little startled by that. I don't think that was part of the script at all. Just a couple little things I noticed. Great flick though--a true classic that I will never forget!

Last I heard an official RAD DVD release was in the works. No set date as of now. Any new news will be posted on BillAllenRad.com

Would love to see someone write a remake. BMX and Xtreme sports have enough of a niche to warrant catering a movie to them not to mention how many thousands of people would see it for nostalgia.
Really like sharing the movie with my sons; at the very least, hope for an anniversary DVD release.
Lori Laughlin and Talia Shire aren't terribly busy. They could jump back in and restart the franchise.

I heard bill allen has been thinkin on doing a sequal. I can only hope for this. To me it would be bigger than transformers. Cru jones was and still is a part of me!

I cant even imagine how happy I would be if a sequal was produced.. On a seperate and unrelated note I think I'm going to be Hollywood Mike Miranda for Halloween this year. He didnt get the attention he deserved, man what heart.........

Gonna be hard to get an actual American made DVD,I found a DVD of it at a pawnshop,in Sullivan,Mo.....I politely bought it & gave it a proper place to rest,my house...probably from one of those sites,has a few glitches,but,not during any of the "good" scenes,so, I'm not complaining!!!! |

hey brothers. anyone know where to get the song "CAUGHT UP IN THE CROSSFIRE", the missing song from "RAD"? I've got a lead, but want to hear from ya'll. I have been watching Rad on YouTube while searching fir parts to finish my Cru Jones replica bike. I would love to see it reaeased on DVD. I have been thinking of ordering a bootleg DVD but not sure about quality.
Does anyone know where you can find a re-print Rad movie poster without the little picture of Bill & Lori? I don't think the original poste had that little picture.
